OC Spray mod aims to add a pepper spray canister that triggers animations and sounds when it hits the player.However, at this stage, the mod adds a pepper spray canister without textures and occasionally triggers animations and sounds for the character. This is an early beta (alpha) version.
I want to thank the kind people who helped me on the Rage Plugin Hook Discord server, and I invite everyone interested in this mod to contribute to its development and improvement. Reporting unmentioned bugs, suggesting ideas for implementing planned features, or writing code to improve what's already there would be great. Since I'm stuck at a stage where I don't know how to proceed, I want this mod to be open source and community-managed.
Technical Issue:
- The weapon fires normally, but not accurately (strong recoil and inaccuracy).
- Peds are afraid of it (they run away and scream).
- Animations and sounds don't always work.
- The animation plays after firing. (I really liked it; let me know what you think.)
- The script sometimes crashes. (I still don't know why this happens; let me know if you have any ideas.
- Materials are incorrect or don't load. (If you know how to add materials to weapons, I would be very grateful for your help.)
